Eos means the goddess of daybreak in the Greek mythology.
Human body is made of 60% water. We were in water before we were born. I tried to express” the water” which is closely related to human by my dance and space.
In moving water calmly, I performed slowly wearing the wearable computer, which express sound in Nishiomotejima and sunlight filtering down through the tees by LED.
本作は、ギリシャ神話の夜明けの女神の名を冠し、生命の根源である「水」と身体の親和性を探求するパフォーマンス作品です。
人間の身体の60%を占める水、そして出生前から私たちを包んでいた記憶。その深い関わりを、静かに流れる水の中での緩やかなダンスとテクノロジーを用いて表現します。西表島の環境音と、水面に差し込む陽光を再現したLEDの光——これら自然界の断片をウェアラブルコンピューターによって身体と同期させることで、踊り手は単なる演者を超え、「環境と共鳴するインターフェース」へと拡張されます。
デジタル化が加速する現代において、あえて物質の気配や空間の記憶に没入する体験を提供すること。それは、鑑賞者の根源的な身体感覚を呼び覚ますという、舞台芸術が担うべき重要な社会的役割の追求でもあります。
